A Tuscan dream come true! Where to begin with this amazing experience?! We had the great fortune of spending the day with our driver, Gino, who was so kind and courteous at every step. He helped us navigate and understand the countryside and all the beautiful places we were seeing. We had planned a very intensive day seeing 3 different cities, but I wouldn’t change a thing about the tour. Every view and every city was a sumptuous feast for the eyes and an opportunity to learn something new. I am so glad we were able to have an introduction to these stunning places. Gino gave us so many great suggestions and was so accommodating that by the end of the day it felt like we were saying goodbye to an old friend. He even gave us a fantastic recommendation for dinner in Florence. We hope we can return and explore even more and will not travel with anyone else! Chianti Region Tour It was a very pleasant day trip and very informative. Francesco gave us lots of little insights throughout the tour. If you add the lunch and wine tasting - you will have a wonderful experience on a centuries old farm. Highlight of our trip to Italy From the moment I booked the trip, Gino was in contact with details and advice for the trip. When we met Gino the morning of the trip, he was friendly, polite and welcoming. The van he uses, is in perfect condition and impeccably clean. Gino is an excellent driver and he made stops at places we hadn’t expected but were fantastic for sites and views. Throughout the trip, Gino taught us the history of the area and the towns that we would be visiting. He was very flexible with the schedule. And having Gino was a benefit because of his intimate knowledge of the area and ability to get us close to the sites to minimize walking distances. Touring the Tuscan countryside Our family had a wonderful day touring Siena and San Gimignano with Gino. The stop for lunch and wine tasting between the towns was a highlight with the beautiful Tuscan scenery. Gino was a great host. Very personable and friendly guide to travel with. The Mercedes van we travelled in was extremely comfortable and made it easy to view the countryside. An amazing experience Our travel advisor arranged a full-day excursion of Siena and San Gimignano with Gino and we could not have been happier! He was professional, kind, attentive and informative. Private tour of Tuscan towns and winery visit Luigi promptly picked us up at our Florence hotel and provided thorough information about the area we drove through. We really appreciated his knowledge as it added to the whole experience. He also stopped at a cemetery in Greve that was beautifully maintained for American service men who died in WW2. It was very moving and a complete surprise to us that this memorial even existed. It was really beautiful. We visited 2 lovely cities with free time to walk around and in between we had lunch at a private winery. The winery views and service was wonderful. Luigi played an informative video and beautiful music in the car during long stretches of driving. We would highly recommend this full day tour!
